Patient Experience with Health Professionals Art Show

Who is/was the most influential member of your health team?

For Nexus Summit 2018, the National Center for Interprofessional Practice and Education has invited individuals to submit their original art to recognize the health professional(s) who had the most significant influence on their care.

As key stakeholder, patient submissions offer a unique perspective on the valuable ways different members of a health care team are able to have a profound impact on care. Was it a clinical pharmacist who helped make sense of an ocean of medications? A home health aide who supported daily activities with compassion and competence? A mental health provider who helped develop healthy coping skills? A nurse or physician in a hospital setting that had the most significant influence?

The art submissions will be showcased at Nexus Summit 2018. After the conference, art will be digitized and posted as an enduring resource on the National Center for Interprofessional Practice and Education Nexus Summit website.

Ted Meyer will be partnering with the National Center to create this unique event and has curated other recent exhibits at the USC Keck School of Medicine and the UCLA Center for Educational Development and Research.
