Scott Wilkes, PhD, JD is an Assistant Professor and the Assistant Dean of academic affairs at CWRU’s Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences. He coordinates and facilitates interprofessional education activities for master’s students at the Mandel School, and he previously served as the school’s director of field education. Dr. Wilkes is a Co-Investigator on the ILEAP project. In addition, he has more than 15 years of experience working in the area of child welfare.

Case Western Reserve University’s ILEAP project has provided important insights and strategies to optimize healthcare students’ interprofessional team skills. The workshop presenters will share insights to clinic site readiness, key components of team experiences, and opportunities for student teams to add value to a clinic site.
