Dr. Lucas Molitor earned her doctorate in occupational therapy from the University of South Dakota. She is Board Certified in Gerontology through the American Occupational Therapy Association. Currently, Dr. Lucas Molitor is Assistant Professor in the Department of Occupational Therapy at USD, teaching in the areas of adult physical rehabilitation, home modification, and health promotion. Her research interests include productive aging, low vision, visual performance among collegiate athletes, and contextually meaningful service provision in occupational therapy. She serves as a member of the USD Center for Teaching & Learning Grants Taskforce, Faculty Senate, and Interprofessional Health Education Center.
Presenting at the Nexus Summit:
This workshop will provide attendees with insight on methods to develop interprofessional education (IPE) curricula through exploration of an effective course model, experience with outcome measures to assess interprofessional collaboration, and tools to increase collaborative engagement among colleagues for successful transformation from engagement in interprofessional education to clinical practice.
