Liam Howley, MD

Liam Howley, M.D., is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at
Indiana University School of Medicine. He attended the University of
Michigan for his undergraduate studies and attained his medical degree at
Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, MI. He completed his
residency in Internal Medicine at Indiana University. He currently works as
an academic Internal Medicine hospitalist at Eskenazi Hospital.


Dr. Howley enjoys working with and educating residents and future
doctors, and is the Professionalism Competency Director for lndiana
University School of Medicine (IUSM). He is the chair of Eskenazi Health’s
Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee as well as chair of the Eskenazi
Graduate Medical Education committee. His educational focuses include
Interprofessional Education, Medical Ethics, Patient Safety and LGBT
health disparities.
