Nexus Innovations Network: Introduction to the IPE Core Data Set and How You Can Become Involved

Target Audience

This workshop is intended for individuals and/or teams interested in exploring opportunities for partnership with the National Center through the Nexus Innovations Network.  This workshop may be of particular interest to:

  • Current network members exploring how to establish a new project or continue an existing project
  • Individuals and/or teams from practice-education partnerships interested in understanding how the Nexus Innovations Network can support their local interprofessional practice and education efforts
  • Individuals and/or teams interested in the National Center IPE Core Data Set and how participation could advance local goals while contributing to national learning

Workshop Description

This workshop is designed to provide an in-depth, interactive introduction to the National Center approach to knowledge generation and how your team can be engaged.  Individuals and organizations will be invited to experience our commitment to knowledge generation through the National Center’s IPE Information Exchange, including the release of our IPE Core Data Set. Come with your questions and ideas as there will be plenty of time for discussion.

Specific topics include:

  • What has been learned through early contributions of Network members
  • Introduction to the National Center IPE Information Exchange and how it aligns with local, regional and national efforts to advance knowledge generation in the field of interprofessional practice and education
  • Overview of new tools, surveys, reports and functionality in the National Center IPE Information Exchange that can support your interprofessional practice and education goals
  • Introduction to the Nexus Innovations Network membership benefits and how your team can become involved.

This workshop is free of charge, but registration is required.

Interprofessional Continuing Education

This activity has been planned and implemented by the National Center for Interprofessional Practice and Education. In support of improving patient care, the National Center for Interprofessional Practice and Education is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
