T3 Program: Transforming Interprofessional Education, Practice & Research through Faculty Development [Short Course F]

In this immersive workshop facilitated by leaders of the national T3 Program, you will explore and practice skills that are needed to lead interprofessional research and training at your institution and further the alignment between classroom education and clinical practice.  You also will explore the relationship between and needs of various stakeholders in classroom education and practice settings. 

Learning Objectives

  • Examine how interprofessional learning plays a role across the Institute of Medicine (IOM) Learning Continuum from classrooms to practice.
  • Explore and practice skills that can help align interprofessional research and training in both education and practice settings.
  • Network with interprofessional leaders to discuss lessons learned from coordinating interprofessional research and training across the learning continuum.

Educators, researchers, practitioners, students, and others who have an interest in bridging the research and training gaps between interprofessional education and collaborative practice.

Interprofessional Continuing Education

This activity has been planned and implemented by the National Center for Interprofessional Practice and Education. In support of improving patient care, the National Center for Interprofessional Practice and Education is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
