Carol Savrin, RN, DNP, is an Associate Professor  at CWRU’s Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing.  Dr. Savrin has been actively involved in promoting collaboration among health care professionals for more than 20 years.  She has worked with a variety of health care professionals to promote better patient care both in academics and in her clinical practice. Dr. Savrin’s grant work in collaboration with Medicine, Dental, Social work, Physician Assistants and Pharmacists has improved student appreciation of other professions and contributed to improved teamwork and patient outcomes. Dr. Savrin is a Co-Investigator on the ILEAP project. 
 

Presenting at the Nexus Summit:
Case Western Reserve University’s ILEAP project has provided important insights and strategies to optimize healthcare students’ interprofessional team skills. The workshop presenters will share insights to clinic site readiness, key components of team experiences, and opportunities for student teams to add value to a clinic site.
