Christine Arenson, MD,the Alumni Profesor and Chair of the Department of Family and Community Medicine at Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University, where she oversees more than 50 faculty members and guides the department’s research, education and clinical goals. Dr. Arenson is also the founding co-director of the Jefferson Center for Inter- Professional Education, and is internationally known for her work in this area. Dr. Arenson is an early member of the American Interprofessional Health Collaborative and currently serves as chair of the board. Her publication and research interests include collaborative health education, geriatric medicine and primary care transformation.
