Dr. Pole is responsible for development of programs, teaching, administration and research at St. Louis University's Center for Interprofessional Education and Research. His experience with collaborative practice in both the private and non-profit sectors, brings integrated perspectives regarding collaborative practice and patient-centered care.  He has been an educator in health promotion for over 35 years, working to integrate medical management, access to quality care, and patient education to improve patient self-management and outcomes. Dr. Pole has a particular interest in advancing interprofessional approaches to improve patient safety and quality improvement.
