Holly Wise, PT, PhD, FNAP

Holly H. Wise, PT, PhD, FNAP is an academic educator and physical therapist with a breadth of experience in interprofessional practice and education.  She is a professor in the College of Health Professions and serves as the Associate Director for Faculty Development in the Office of Interprofessional Initiatives at the Medical University of South Carolina.  Since 2012, she has served as the American Council of Academic Physical Therapy representative to the Global Forum on Innovation in Health Professional Education.  Dr. Wise has multiple publications and presentations related to the scholarship of teaching with a focus on interprofessional practice and education.
 

Presenting at the Nexus Summit:
Participate in an "escape room" online game designed to challenge small interprofessional groups of students with a set of engaging tasks that demand effective communication, leadership skills, efficient collaboration, and interprofessional cooperation.
This skills workshop will review the components of Team Up for Better Teaching, a fourteen-week institution-wide program designed to promote IP education, practice, and research that may serve as an exemplary model for other academic institutions to help build capacity to meet their IP needs.
