Kathryn Keller is a Professor of Nursing at Florida Atlantic University. Her focus is on strengthening IP concepts within the practice setting. She is presently working to establish a sustainable model for building interprofessional values & competencies that are fostered and mentored in practice.
Presenting at the Nexus Summit:
This workshop will explore how the Hidden Curriculum begins in academic interprofessional education and extends into practice. When these influences are ignored, negative behaviors are encouraged that are in direct conflict with interprofessional practice competencies. During the workshop, Participants will be given an opportunity to practice techniques to dismantle these obstacles.
