Mari Tucker currently serves as the Director of the Office of Sponsored Projects at Washburn University and, in that capacity, is responsible for promoting and facilitating the acquisition of external funding to support the University’s programs, projects and related activities. She previously held Director level positions at the Kansas Board of Regents and North Central Kansas Technical College (NCK Tech). She is a graduate of the Leadership Hays program, was an adjunct instructor in the Leadership Studies programs at both Fort Hays State University and Washburn and serves as a member of the C2C project team.
Presenting at the Nexus Summit:
The Classroom to Community (C2C) is a National Center Accelerating Interprofessional Community-based Education practice project. Their workshop, an Opportunity to Join in Action is designed to demonstrate strategies and opportunities for leadership and multi-directional mentoring utilizing Community-Based Participatory Research methods and principles of interprofessional communication to co-create meaningful change in their own communities.
