Dr. Moote attended the University of Texas at Austin and received her Doctor of Pharmacy in 2007. She completed her Master of Science in Pharmacy and Advanced Practice Pharmacotherapy Specialty Residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas in 2009. She has been faculty at Regis University for eight years and has created and developed interprofessional simulation opportunities across the Rueckert-Hartman College for Health Professions for 6 years. She has written a book chapter on interprofessional education and has contributed several publications on the scholarship of teaching and learning.
Presenting at the Nexus Summit:
Attendees will learn about creating, implementing, and evaluating an end-of-life interprofessional simulation by experiencing it. Through role playing, participants will experience the challenges of interprofessional practice. The active learning strategy of debriefing will clarify learning moments.
