Teri Kennedy, PhD, MSW, LCSW, ACSW, FGSA, FNAP

Dr. Kennedy has 17 years of direct practice and administrative experience serving older adults and their families through the provision of health, behavioral health, and social services in home and community-based, home health, in-patient medical and gero-psychiatric, and skilled nursing facility settings. She participates in a variety of interprofessional education and practice initiatives between health professions schools as a member of the Arizona Nexus. Her research interests include sustainability, resilient aging, and the cultural construction of happiness. She has developed a model of sustainability used to support gerontological and interprofessional education and practice initiatives, and is providing training and consultation on sustainability in collaboration between ASU and the National Center for Interprofessional Practice and Education. She is also an indie singer/songwriter with multiple CDs of traditional, contemporary, and original music.
