2018 Interprofessional Student Achievement Award

#NexusSummit2018

The Interprofessional Student Achievement Award is granted to one health professions student attendee of the Nexus Summit in recognition of her or his outstanding poster presentation, demonstrating advancements in the field of interprofessional practice and education. Student posters were accepted through a peer-review process, and presented during the Nexus Fair. A committee of members of the American Interprofessional Health Collaborative (AIHC) reviewed the student poster presentations and rated them on both content and oral presentation.

The 2018 Interprofessional Student Achievement Award was presented to Samuel Bunting of Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, for his poster titled "Educating Community Healthcare Workers About PrEP Using a Holistic, Interprofessional Service-Learning Model."

Special thanks to Gail M. Jensen, PT, PhD, FAPTA, Dean of the Graduate School, College of Professional Studies, and Summer Sessions, and Vice Provost for Learning and Assessment at Creighton University.
