Frank J. Ascione, Pharm.D., MPH, Ph.D, is Professor Pharmacy, University of Michigan College of Pharmacy and Director of the U-M Center for Interprofessional Education. He has taught courses on scientific literature evaluation, patient communication, and (currently) regulatory science. His research has focused on drug use/approval policy, health care institutional decision making, and interprofessional education/practice. He has over 90 publications on these subjects. He has won several teaching innovation awards from the Smithsonian Institute, listed in Who’s Who, is a fellow in several professional societies, and is recipient of the Pharmacist of the Year Award from the Michigan Pharmacist Association
